Allez Kiki Fermentation, Italy's renowned jazz-funk ensemble, presents their latest 7-inch vinyl 'Cannelé / QMQS', released on June 28, 2024. The track 'Cannelé' is a smooth, sun-drenched tribute to the sweet delicacy of the Bordeaux region, well-known to double bassist and former Saint-Émilion employee Fabio Bordignon. Beautiful string arrangements elevate the track, imparting a highly cinematic feel. On the flip side is the final studio version of 'QMQS' (Quando mai, quando sempre), an old Italian expression describing people who appear rarely and always on the same specific occasions. This uplifting disco tune first appeared in demo and live versions on previous releases 'Gusto di Luce' and 'Live at Bolle Nardini', and has now been re-recorded in a clean and groovy rendition for this 7-inch record.
