Released in 1995, "Né La Thiass" is the debut album of Senegalese singer and drummer Cheikh Lô, produced by Youssou N'Dour. This album is a fusion of African and Cuban rhythms, with Lô blending traditional mbalax rhythms with Latin influences to create a unique sound. In 2018, the album was remastered from the original cassette recordings and released on 180g vinyl, featuring a 16-page color booklet and two bonus postcards. This album is a must-have for lovers of world music and African rhythms.
