Description

'Burning Moonlight' is the posthumous EP by the legendary Marianne Faithfull, released on April 12, 2025. This vinyl record features four new tracks that reflect her rich musical career. Side one pays homage to her pop beginnings with 'Burning Moonlight', inspired by her debut hit 'As Tears Go By', and 'Love Is', co-written with her grandson Oscar Dunbar. Side two returns to her folk roots with the traditional song 'Three Kinsmen Bold', learned from her father, and a new interpretation of 'She Moved Thru' The Fair', first recorded in 1966. This EP serves as a fitting closure to her 60-year musical journey.
