Brunhild Ferrari, renowned for her collaborations with Vincent Royer, Jim O'Rourke, and Christoph Heemann, presents her new solo album 'Extérieur-jour'. This vinyl features two previously unreleased electroacoustic compositions. The first, 'Extérieur-jour', is a 'cinéma pour l’oreille' – a movie for the ears, recorded in January and February 2014 at Luc Ferrari's Atelier Post Billig. The second, 'Le Piano Englouti', was realized between 1996 and 2010 and serves as a meditation on the loss and reappearance of memory and silence, with recordings from diverse locations such as a Greek island by the noisy Aegean Sea and a quiet island in Japan. The album cover was designed by Wolfgang Meyer Tormin, Brunhild Ferrari's father. Mastering for vinyl was done by Jim O'Rourke.
