'Here To Stay' is an exceptional jazz album by legendary trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, originally recorded in December 1962 and released in 1976. This album features a stellar quintet with tenor saxophonist Wayne Shorter, pianist Cedar Walton, bassist Reggie Workman, and drummer Philly Joe Jones. It includes two original Hubbard compositions, 'Philly Mignon' and 'Nostrand and Fulton', two pieces by Cal Massey, 'Father and Son' and 'Assunta', and an unforgettable rendition of the standard 'Body and Soul'. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl edition is stereo, all-analog, remastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal. The release is scheduled for January 17, 2025.
