Falcon Jane, led by singer-songwriter Sara May, presents the album 'LEGACY', released on August 23, 2024. This album features ten indie-leaning, alt-country tracks that explore the archetypal characters of country music, such as the drinker, the vagabond, and the absent father. Sara May portrays these characters with clarity and empathy, drawing from her own experiences of a rural childhood, moving to Toronto, and life on the road. In collaboration with producer José Contreras (By Divine Right), Falcon Jane steers their sound towards folk and country, with Sara May's voice more powerful than ever, supported by warm, Nashville-leaning production. The result is an album that is both a homecoming and a new beginning.
