Description

'Canary in a Coalmine' is the second solo album by Graeme Jefferies, the legendary New Zealand singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with Nocturnal Projections, This Kind of Punishment, and The Cakekitchen. This limited edition blue vinyl album was written and recorded during the COVID-19 lockdown, with Jefferies playing all instruments and handling recording and mastering himself. The album features 10 new tracks exploring themes of isolation and uncertainty with a touch of black humor, drawing inspiration from Emily Brontë and New Zealand's famous racehorse, Phar Lap. This album is a must-have for fans of alternative rock and indie music.
