Dustin O'Halloran, the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning composer and pianist, presents his highly anticipated album '1001' on Deutsche Grammophon. This electronics-forward album, released on March 22, 2024, explores themes of nature, consciousness, and technology, focusing on the profound implications of artificial intelligence. Designed for 'intentional listening,' it provides a space to slow down and reflect on complex philosophical questions of our rapidly evolving era. O'Halloran recorded '1001' at Reykjavík's RRO Studios, joined by longtime collaborator Bryan Senti on violin, an eight-voice choir, Paul Corley (Sigur Rós) on electronic production, and the Budapest Art Orchestra conducted by Roman Vinuesa. The album was mixed by Francesco Donadello. This vinyl edition offers listeners a deep and immersive musical experience.
