Description

David Sylvian's "Died In The Wool – Manafon Variations" is now available on vinyl for the first time. Originally released in 2011, this album features six tracks from his 2009 album "Manafon," reimagined by contemporary classical composer Dai Fujikura. Additionally, the album includes new compositions such as "I Should Not Dare" and "A Certain Slant of Light," which are musical adaptations of Emily Dickinson's poems, set to music by Sylvian and Fennesz. The track "When We Return You Won’t Recognise Us" is an 18-minute version of a piece originally created for the 2008–09 Canary Islands Biennial. This album is a must-have for fans of experimental music and vinyl collectors.
