Vomito Negro is a Belgian electronic band formed in 1983 by Gin Devo. The name translates to "black vomit," a phenomenon associated with the final stage of yellow fever. The band is known for its contributions to the EBM (Electronic Body Music) genre, releasing albums such as "Dare" (1988), "Shock" (1989), and "Human" (1990). Their music is characterized by dark synthesizer sounds and rhythmic sequences. After a hiatus in 2002, the band returned in 2010 with the album "Skull & Bones." Their work has influenced many other electronic and industrial bands.
