Walter Etc. is an American folk punk band from Ventura, California. Originally known as Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra, the band was formed in 2009 by childhood friends Dustin Cole Hayes, Kris Schobert, and Jake Lee. After releasing their fourth album, "Well Soon," they took a hiatus, returning in 2016 under the new name Walter Etc. Their 2017 album "Gloom Cruise" was produced by Jeff Rosenstock. The band has supported acts like Modern Baseball and Knuckle Puck on U.S. tours and accompanied Jeff Rosenstock on his European tour in 2024.
