Waylon, born Willem Bijkerk in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, is a Dutch singer and songwriter. He began his career in 1995 and, in 2008, became the first Dutch artist signed to the Motown label. His debut album, "Wicked Ways," released in 2009, featured the hit single "Wicked Way." In 2014, he represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest alongside Ilse DeLange as part of the duo The Common Linnets, achieving second place with the song "Calm After the Storm." Waylon is known for his distinctive voice and blending country, pop, and rock genres in his music.
