WhoCares was a supergroup formed in 2011 by Ian Gillan of Deep Purple and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath to raise funds for rebuilding a music school in Gyumri, Armenia, after the 1988 earthquake. The band released the single "Out of My Mind / Holy Water" and, in 2012, a two-disc album titled "Ian Gillan & Tony Iommi: WhoCares". Other members included Jon Lord, Jason Newsted, Nicko McBrain, and Mikko "Linde" Lindström. Musically, they focused on hard rock and heavy metal. The project was short-lived, active between 2011 and 2012.
