'Cousin' is the thirteenth studio album by American rock band Wilco, released on September 29, 2023. Following their return to country roots on the previous album 'Cruel Country,' Wilco's 'Cousin' marks a return to progressive and experimental rock. The album was produced by Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon, the first time in over a decade that the band collaborated with an external producer. Le Bon brought a unique musical perspective to the recording, pushing Wilco's sound into new dimensions. Recorded over two years at the legendary The Loft studio in Chicago, the album features ten new tracks written by band leader Jeff Tweedy.
