Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet is a Polish jazz ensemble led by double bassist Wojtek Mazolewski. The group is renowned for its innovative fusion of traditional jazz with elements of punk rock and Slavic musical traditions. Their 2014 album "Polka" achieved gold status within six months and platinum in three years. In 2020, they released "When Angels Fall," featuring interpretations of Krzysztof Komeda's compositions. This was followed by "Spirit To All" in 2022. The quintet is celebrated for their energetic live performances and emphasis on improvisation.
