Their debut album, "Private Revolution" (1987), featured the hit "Ship of Fools," which reached number 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up album, "Goodbye Jumbo" (1990), was named "album of the year" by Q magazine and included tracks like "Way Down Now" and "Put the Message in the Box." Their third album, "Bang!" (1993), peaked at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart. The fourth album, "Egyptology" (1997), featured the song "She's the One," later covered by Robbie Williams, who took it to number 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
