Wumpscut is a German electro-industrial music project founded in 1991 by Rudolf "Rudy" Ratzinger. The project is known for its dark and atmospheric sound, combining elements of electronic music and industrial. Notable albums include "Music for a Slaughtering Tribe" (1993), "Bunkertor 7" (1995), and "Embryodead" (1997). Wumpscut is a studio-only project and has never performed live. In 1995, Ratzinger established his own label, Beton Kopf Media, to release his music in Europe. The project is also recognized for its limited edition album releases and extensive merchandising.
