Alexander Malofeev is a Russian pianist born in 2001 in Moscow. He studied at the Gnessin Special School and the Moscow Conservatory. In 2014, he won first prize at the 8th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians. He has performed with leading orchestras and conductors, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. In 2025, he signed an exclusive contract with Sony Classical, and his debut album "Forgotten Melodies" is scheduled for release in 2026. The album features works by Russian composers such as Medtner, Glazunov, and Glinka.
