Camarón de la Isla, born José Monje Cruz, was a Spanish Romani flamenco singer from San Fernando in the province of Cádiz. Considered one of the greatest flamenco singers of all time, he was renowned for his collaborations with guitarists Paco de Lucía and Tomatito. Among his most significant albums are "La leyenda del tiempo" (1979), which revolutionized flamenco music by incorporating modern elements, and "Soy gitano" (1989), the first flamenco album to achieve gold status by selling over 50,000 copies. Camarón passed away in 1992, but his musical legacy continues to influence flamenco artists worldwide. The products available from the artist Camarón de la Isla include vinyls.
