empty cell Clay Kin
Clay Kin is an audiovisual collective comprising Swiss percussionist Julian Sartorius and UK electronic artist Dan Nicholls. Their debut album, "Vevey," was released in 2025 under the Squama label. The album features seven tracks distilled from over seven hours of improvised percussion and electronics, recorded mostly outdoors around the Swiss town of Vevey. Their music bridges acoustic and electronic soundscapes, with Sartorius's organic percussion interweaving with Nicholls's keyboard-triggered samples and harmonic landscapes. The collective is rounded out by visual artist Lou Zon (Louise Boer), who creates videos accompanying their music and live performances.
