Dean & Britta is an American musical duo consisting of Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, both members of the band Luna. Wareham formed Luna in 1991 after leaving Galaxie 500, with Phillips joining in 2000. As a duo, they debuted with the album "L'Avventura" in 2003, produced by Tony Visconti. Their second album, "Back Numbers," was released in 2007. In 2010, they released "13 Most Beautiful: Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen Tests." In 2024, they collaborated with Sonic Boom on the holiday album "A Peace of Us." Their music is characterized as indie pop with influences of folk and psychedelia.
