Diana Damrau is a German soprano renowned for her performances in opera and concert. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg and made her debut in 1995 as Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro. Her notable roles include the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, and Violetta in La traviata. Damrau has recorded numerous albums, including "Arie di Bravura" and "My Christmas". She has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Minasi and Richard Whilds. She was honored with the title of Bavarian Kammersängerin and received the Bavarian Order of Merit. Her husband is French bass-baritone Nicolas Testé.
