Faze-O was an American funk band from Dayton, Ohio, active in the 1970s. The group was best known for their 1977 hit "Riding High," which reached number 7 on the R&B chart. They released three albums: "Riding High" (1977), "Good Thang" (1978), and "Breakin' the Funk" (1979). Their music blended funk and soul, and they were produced by Ohio Players member Clarence Satchell. Faze-O influenced later hip-hop artists who sampled their tracks.
