Fuchsia is a British progressive folk rock band formed in 1970 by Tony Durant during his studies at Exeter University. The band released their debut album "Fuchsia" in 1971, which was later recognized by Mojo magazine as a "Forgotten Classic". Their musical style is similar to contemporary bands like Jade and Comus. After the band's dissolution, Durant moved to Australia, where he continued his musical career. In 2013, he released the album "Fuchsia II: From Psychedelia...To a Distant Place", and in 2018, the EP "Barrett's Allsorts" as a tribute to Syd Barrett.
