Funkdoobiest is an American hip-hop group from Los Angeles, consisting of Jason "Son Doobie" Vasquez, Tyrone "Tomahawk Funk" Pacheco, and DJ Ralph "Tha Phunky Mexican" Medrano. Formed in 1989, the group is known for their 1993 debut album "Which Doobie U B?", featuring the hit "Bow Wow Wow". Their second album, "Brothas Doobie" (1995), includes the track "Superhoes", which appeared on the soundtrack of the film "Friday". After Tomahawk Funk's departure in 1995, the group continued producing music and released additional albums, remaining an active part of the hip-hop scene.
