Hugar is an Icelandic neo-classical post-rock duo composed of multi-instrumentalists Bergur Þórisson and Pétur Jónsson from Seltjarnarnes, Iceland. Formed in 2012, they released their self-titled debut album "Hugar" in 2014. In 2019, they signed with Sony Music Masterworks and released the album "Varða". This was followed by "Rift" in 2022. Hugar also composed the score for the 2019 film "The Vasulka Effect". Their music blends elements of classical, post-rock, and ambient genres. The products available from the artist Hugar include CDs.
