Iry LeJeune was an American musician and singer, recognized as one of the most influential Cajun accordionists. Born on October 28, 1928, in Pointe Noire, Louisiana, his musical career began in the 1940s. His recordings, such as "Love Bridge Waltz" and "Evangeline Special," became classics of Cajun music. LeJeune was known for his emotive singing and virtuoso accordion playing. He collaborated with several notable musicians of his time.
