Jane's Addiction was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins. The band was known for its alternative rock and metal sound. Notable albums include "Nothing's Shocking" (1988) and "Ritual de lo Habitual" (1990). Their single "Been Caught Stealing" won Best Alternative Video at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards.
