Jihee Heo is a South Korean pianist and composer based in New York City. She studied in Amsterdam and at the Manhattan School of Music, blending experimental jazz with classical music and bop. Her album "Flow" was recorded at the legendary Rudy Van Gelder Studio in Englewood, NJ, and features collaborations with alto saxophonist Vincent Herring. Heo is known for her beautiful legato touch and detailed figures, placing her within the great tradition of the jazz trio.
