Jon Dee Graham is an American musician, guitarist, and songwriter from Austin, Texas. He was a member of the bands The Skunks and True Believers, with the latter being considered a pioneer of the cowpunk genre, blending literary songwriting with punk rock. Throughout his career, he collaborated with artists such as John Doe, Exene Cervenka, James McMurtry, and Patty Griffin. Graham has released ten solo albums, including "Escape from Monster Island" (1997), "Summerland" (1999), and "Hooray for the Moon" (2002). In 2006, he was named Austin Musician of the Year during the South by Southwest (SXSW) music conference and has been inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame three times.
