La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004. They are known for their unique style that blends elements of post-hardcore, screamo, and spoken word. Their debut album, "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair," was released in 2008 to positive reviews. This was followed by "Wildlife" (2011), "Rooms of the House" (2014), and "Panorama" (2019). In 2025, they released their fifth studio album, "No One Was Driving the Car." The band is recognized for their emotive lyrics and intense live performances.
