Michael Mayo is an American singer and composer known for his versatility in genres such as jazz, gospel, R&B, and neo soul. He has released two studio albums: "Bones" in 2021 and "Fly" in 2024. Mayo has collaborated with artists like Herbie Hancock, Nate Smith, and the band Kneebody. He studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and was one of the few vocalists accepted into the Thelonius Monk Institute of Jazz. His music is noted for innovative use of voice and vocal layering, evident in the track "Stolen Moments" from the "Bones" album.
