Mike Osborne was an English jazz alto saxophonist, pianist, and clarinetist, known for his participation in the Brotherhood of Breath band during the 1960s and 1970s. Born in Hereford, he studied at Wycliffe College and the Guildhall School of Music. From 1962 to 1972, he was a member of the Mike Westbrook band. In 1970, he released his debut album, "Outback." Between 1974 and 1975, he was part of the saxophone trio S.O.S. with John Surman and Alan Skidmore. Due to health issues, he ended his career in 1982 and passed away in 2007.
