Morten Ramsbøl is a Danish jazz double bassist who studied at the Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium and privately with Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen and others. He led his own group, releasing the album "Short Stay" in 2002, and was a member of Klüvers Big Band, collaborating with soloists like Veronica Mortensen and Kurt Elling. Ramsbøl has worked with artists such as Sinne Eeg, Jim Rotondi, Olaf Polziehn, and others. In 2013, he became a professor of double bass at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz.
