Mudhoney is an American rock band formed on January 1, 1988, in Seattle, Washington. The original members are vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mark Arm, lead guitarist Steve Turner, bassist Matt Lukin, and drummer Dan Peters. The band was instrumental in the development of the grunge genre, particularly with their debut single "Touch Me I'm Sick" and the EP "Superfuzz Bigmuff". Throughout their career, they have released eleven studio albums, including "Mudhoney" (1989), "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge" (1991), and "Piece of Cake" (1992). Their music is characterized by a raw sound and energetic performances, influencing many other artists in grunge and alternative rock.
