Navarone is a Dutch alternative rock band formed in Nijmegen in 2008. The band consists of lead vocalist Merijn van Haren, guitarists Kees Lewiszong and Roman Huijbreghs, bassist Bram Versteeg, and drummer Robin Assen. Their debut album, "A Darker Shade of White," was released in 2012, followed by "Vim and Vigor" (2014), "Oscillation" (2017), and "Salvo" (2018). In 2018, they became the first band to participate in The Voice of Holland, finishing as runners-up. Their music blends elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and progressive rock.
