Ob6sions is a Dutch jazz ensemble comprising saxophonist Efraïm Trujillo, keyboardist Jeroen van Helsdingen, bassist Sven Schuster, and drummer Victor de Boo. Formed in 2010, the group was established to serve as the house band for the 'Mijke’s Middag Live' program on Radio 6 Soul & Jazz. Their debut album, 'First Takes,' released in 2012, features a blend of original compositions and jazz standards, recorded live during broadcasts. The album was released under the Challenge Records label and received positive feedback for its energy and musical cohesion.
