Overdrive is a Swedish heavy metal band formed in 1980. Their debut album, "Metal Attack," was released in 1983, followed by "Swords and Axes" in 1984. The band was known for its energetic style and contributed to the development of the Swedish metal scene in the 1980s. After several lineup changes and hiatuses, Overdrive reunited in the 1990s and continued to produce music.
