Pretty Girls Make Graves is an American post-hardcore band formed in Seattle in 2001. The band's name is derived from a song by The Smiths. Their debut album, "Good Health," was released in 2002 under Lookout Records. This was followed by "The New Romance" in 2003 under Matador Records, produced by Phil Ek. In 2006, they released "Élan Vital." The band disbanded in 2007 but announced a reunion in 2023, performing at the When We Were Young festival in 2024.
