Halberstadt was a longtime faculty member at Cornish College of the Arts and served as a soloist with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra. On the album "Open Heart," he collaborated with musicians like Jay Thomas, Chuck Deardorf, and Mark Taylor.
