Randy Meisner was an American musician, best known as the bassist and vocalist for the Eagles. Prior to joining the Eagles, he was a member of the band Poco. With the Eagles, he contributed to albums such as "Eagles" (1972), "Desperado" (1973), "On the Border" (1974), "One of These Nights" (1975), and "Hotel California" (1976). His solo career includes albums like "Randy Meisner" (1978), "One More Song" (1980), and "Randy Meisner" (1982). Meisner was known for his high tenor voice and co-wrote and sang lead on the hit "Take It to the Limit." In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles.
