RanestRane is an Italian progressive rock band from Rome, founded in 1998. They specialize in creating concept albums inspired by classic films, such as "Nosferatu Il Vampiro" (2007), "Shining" (2011), and the "A Space Odyssey" trilogy (2013–2018). Their music combines symphonic prog with melodic lines and often incorporates film excerpts that serve as the foundation for their rock operas. The band has collaborated with Marillion members Steve Rothery and Steve Hogarth, who contributed to their albums. RanestRane is known for their "CineConcerts," where they perform live alongside film screenings, creating a unique audiovisual experience. The products available from the artist RanestRane include CDs.
