Renée was a Dutch band formed in 1977 by René Nodelijk and his wife, Anja Nodelijk. Originally known as René And His Alligators, the group rebranded as Renée and released four albums before disbanding in 1982. Their second album, "Reaching For The Sky" from 1980, blends elements of pop, rock, funk, and disco. The album features tracks like "Change Your Style" and "Just One Look". In 2025, the album was reissued on magenta vinyl to commemorate its 45th anniversary. Renée was known for their sophisticated pop sound and contributed to the Dutch music scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
