Smola a Hrušky is a Slovak band from Spišská Nová Ves, formed in 1997. The original lineup included Spoko Kramár (vocals, guitar), Ubo Gott (bass), Števo Ondáš (drums), Eva Kacejová (saxophone), and Laco Petrek (guitar, vocals). The band blends elements of reggae, punk, and ska. Notable albums include "Jeseň 2003" (2003), "Na chate" (2005), and "Kameň Papier Nožnice" (2008). In 2009, they reached the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest Slovakia with the song "Na čom záleží". They have collaborated with artists such as Lou Fanánek Hagen and Petra Polnišová.
