Stackridge was a British rock band formed in Bristol in 1969. Their debut album, "Stackridge," was released in 1971 and featured tracks like "Dora the Female Explorer" and "Slark." In 1974, they released "The Man in the Bowler Hat," produced by George Martin, which reached number 23 on the UK Albums Chart. After disbanding in 1976, some members reunited in 1999 to release "Something for the Weekend." The band concluded their activities in 2015 following a final tour.
