Sven Kacirek is a German drummer, producer, and author known for his work in electronic music and jazz. He studied at the Drummers Collective in New York and the Musikhochschule in Hamburg. Kacirek has released several solo albums, including "The Palmin Sessions" (2007), "The Kenya Sessions" (2010), and "Scarlet Pitch Dreams" (2012). His album "The Kenya Sessions" received the German Record Critics' Award in 2011. He is also the author of two books on drumming and serves as a lecturer at the Hamburg School of Music.
