Over his more than 50-year career, he has released significant albums such as "Taj Mahal" (1968), "The Natch'l Blues" (1968), and "Giant Step/De Ole Folks at Home" (1969). His music blends blues with elements of Caribbean, African, and Hawaiian music. He has collaborated with artists like Ry Cooder and Keb' Mo'.
