The Golliwogs were an American rock band active from 1964 to 1967. The group consisted of John Fogerty, Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook, and Doug Clifford, who later formed Creedence Clearwater Revival. During their tenure, they released several singles, including "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Fight Fire". Their music was influenced by garage rock and the British Invasion. In 2017, a compilation titled "Fight Fire: The Complete Recordings 1964-1967" was released, encompassing all their recordings from this period.
