The Paladins are an American roots rock-rockabilly band from San Diego, California. Founded in the early 1980s by guitarist Dave Gonzalez and bassist Thomas Yearsley, the band has released nine studio albums and built a reputation as a hard-working live band. Their second album, "Years Since Yesterday" (1988), produced by Steve Berlin and Mark Linett, was released on Alligator Records. The Paladins blend rockabilly, blues, swing, and R&B to create a distinctive sound. Throughout their career, they have collaborated with artists such as Los Lobos, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The band was active from 1980 to 2005 and reunited in 2014.
