The Sacred Mushroom was a blues rock and psychedelic rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, active from 1966 to 1969. The band was led by guitarist and songwriter Larry Goshorn along with his younger brother, vocalist Tim Goshorn. In 1967, they released their debut single "Break Away Girl" / "Yellow Fever" under Minaret Records, which received local and regional airplay. In 1969, they released their only album, "The Sacred Mushroom," under Parallax Records, featuring original tracks and covers of T-Bone Walker's "Mean Old World" and Ray Davies' "I'm Not Like Everybody Else."
